T-minus 7 days…Choir/Orchestra (Flight B) - Arrive to WRHS at 3:30am, depart 3:45amBand (Flight A) - Arrive to WRHS 5:00am, depart 5:15am
I had warned everyone this was going to be updated and here we are. So you all know, Flight A (band) is a charter and we will NOT be going through traditional security. They won’t allow us in the actual terminal so arriving early isn’t an option. Screening will be on the tarmac at our buses and then we board the plane directly (pretty cool actually). Flight B (choir/orchestra) is Southwest and you go through TSA like normal. Those buses HAVE to get back for routes and that’s the reason for your earlier time.
LUGGAGE in the band room next Monday by 10am (I’m giving you a little extra time). This is your suitcase AND instrument + garment bag for marching uniforms and orchestra concert blacks. Monday is NOT for your carry-on stuff. That will all go with you on Thursday when we fly but it has to be within the measurement/weight parameters that we’ve shared. Be mindful of liquids, etc. Remember, what you pack for Monday will be gone and inaccessible until after dinner when we check-in at the hotel on Thursday night. Plan accordingly.
